The man was pulled from the debris of the building and rushed to JJ hospital for treatment of injuries. Gaus was inside the shop when he heard a loud thud after a part of the building collapsed at the place he was sleeping. After debris started falling on the floor, the cupboard fell on him and he hid inside it. "I did not panic but when a portion of debris fell, I managed to enter the cupboard. I could hear screams of women and children who were trapped but could not help as I was stuck inside the cupboard," said Gaus.
