more-inThe Medchal police apprehended a man for allegedly attempting to rape a minor girl on Thursday. The accused has been identified as Khaja Vali (50), a labourer and resident of Raja Reddy Nagar in Medchal. Police said that the accused was acquainted with the victim’s parents as the latter too are labourers. He raised an alarm and informed the victim’s parents. The girl’s mother lodged a complaint and the accused has been remanded to judicial custody,” Medchal inspector S. Venkar Reddy said.
