According to the police, the woman, Kavitha (name changed), working in a textile showroom in West Mambalam, got into a relationship with her colleague Anthony Rajeshkumar. When her parents came to know about it, they went to meet the man’s family in Thoothukudi to discuss their marriage. Angered by her move, Anthony put up their pictures on social media websites, leading to the cancellation of the marriage. Kavitha lodged a complaint with the Valasaravakkam police, who on investigation, found that he had uploaded the pictures.
