Emergency services were called to Bowl Line in Kaikorai Valley Rd this evening after a man got his hand caught in a machine. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokeswoman said they were called to the scene at 7.34pm. Two fire crews, one from Roslyn and another from Willowbank, were in attendance, she said. Fire crews were there to assist and said the man was now free, she said. A St John spokeswoman said the man had sustained moderate injuries but an ambulance was not required.
