Ottawa police homicide detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing of a 25-year-old man in Nepean. Officers were called to a bungalow at 38 Sherry Lane near West Hunt Club Road and Woodroffe Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. An upstairs neighbour, hearing a commotion, went downstairs and found the man bleeding on the floor and called 911. A section of Sherry Lane remains closed between Gary and Brent avenues. Police asks anyone with information about the stabbing to contact the Ottawa police homicide unit at 613-236-1222 ext.
