KUALA LUMPUR: Police obtained a three-day remand order against a man who engaged in a shouting match with Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) enforcement officers and bystanders in Cheras over traffic infraction. A source close to the investigation revealed that the remand order which started today was obtained from a magistrate's’ court to facilitate police probe over the incident which went viral recently. Cheras police chief Assistant Commissioner Chong Kok Sin confirmed the remand order which will end on Sept 29. The four-minute video showed the man clad in a a striped shirt, accompanied by an older female companion, screaming furiously at two uniformed men believed to be Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL) officers. The man went to his car to retrieve a stick, before squaring up to one of the DBKL officers.
