Man docked for obtaining N320,000 under false pretencesA 32-year-old man, Sunday Samuel, was on Friday docked before a Badagry Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State for allegedly obtaining N320,000 under false pretences. Samuel is facing a two-count charge of obtaining money under false pretences and stealing. Ikem said that Samuel collected N320, 000 fraudulently from Kehinde Joseph, under false pretences, to help him pay for contribution, which he never did. “The defendant stole the sum of N320, 000 belonging to the plaintiff. “The offences contravened Sections 313 and 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015,” he said.
