A man has died after a fire at his home on Breens Rd in Christchurch. Photo: Geoff Sloan A man has died following a house fire in Christchurch on Saturday. Emergency services were called to the fire at a house on Breens Rd, Bishopdale, about 10.40pm. Mr Orme went to the man's door and tried to get his attention but emergency services told him not to open the door. A police spokesperson said the man was found inside the property in a critical condition.
