A man is dead and a woman has minor injuries after an early morning collision in the city's west end, according to Toronto paramedics. Toronto police say that the pair were having an altercation in the roadway at about 5 a.m. when the man was struck by a vehicle turning left onto Eglinton Avenue West. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman has been transported to hospital for treatment. Fatality: Eglinton Ave is closed both ways on the west side of Blackcreek Dr for a collision. Eglinton Avenue West is closed between Black Creek Drive and Weston Road as police conduct a collision investigation, said Stibbe.
