PUTRAJAYA: A maintenance company worker has been charged with raping a 15-year-old-girl whom he got to know via the WeChat messaging app. Muhammad Ajid Nasiruddin, 19, was accused of raping the girl at an abandoned house in Wangsa Maju at 9pm on Aug 7. Muhammad Ajid later claimed trial before Sessions Court judge Yong Zarida Sazali. Deputy Public Prosecutor Nordiyanasari Omar did not offer bail for fear that the accused would disturb the victim. Judge Yong Zarida fixed bail at RM7,000 pending mention on Oct 23.
