The 27-year-old from Johor retained the women's shot putt F12 (visual impairment) gold with a hurl of 10.09m at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Tuesday. This adds to the gold she won in the discus event on Monday. “It feels really good to win gold medals on home soil. I will go all out to win my third gold in the javelin event on Thursday,” said Hema, who is competing for the fifth time in the Para Games.
