Man charged with trafficking 36 Kenyans to Middle EastHassan Raja Namukabwa arraigned for allegedly trafficking 36 women to Saudi Arabia: A man accused of attempting to traffic 36 women to the Middle East has been released on Sh20,000 cash bail.Hassan Rajab Namukhabwa was charged with illegally trafficking 36 adult women contrary to counter trafficking of persons Act (2010). The suspect was granted Sh100,000 bond with a surety of similar amount or alternative cash bail of Sh20,000. Rajab, prosecution alleges, had duped the school management that he was housing them for a religious seminar that would take a few days. The administration wondered why the complainants were all women and the seminar that was purportedly to take place was not taking place. Officers from Mumias Police Station were alerted after which swiftly moved to the school where they rescued the women.
