A Toronto man is facing two sex charges after being accused of sexually assaulting a three-year-old boy in a neighbourhood park, then trying to buy the mother’s silence. Police say the man then sexually assaulted the child, and tried to pay the mother to not report anything when she confronted him. According to a release, the boy and his mother were walking in a park near Queen St W. and Lansdowne Ave. May 28 when a man approached the boy and began talking to him. Cesar Diaz, 52, faces one count each of sexual assault and sexual interference.
