A 50-year-old man has been arrested and charged with failing to stop and ascertain injury in relation to a fatal crash which killed 33-year-old Rikki McCall in Owaka earlier this month [file photo]. Police have arrested a 50-year-old-man in relation to the death of 33-year-old Owaka man Rikki McCall, who was found dead on a road earlier this month. Southern Criminal Investigation Branch detective sergeant Scott McMulkin said a 50-year-old man had been charged with failing to stop and ascertain injury in relation to a fatal crash. The man is due to appear in Dunedin District Court on May 31. McCall was found dead on Owaka Valley Rd at 12.20am on Sunday, May 8.
