more-inPanaji: A magistrate’s court in North Goa on Wednesday granted bail to Isidore Fernandes, accused of molesting a tourist from the U.S., on condition that he will appear before the investigating officer whenever called for. The accused has been charged under Sections 354 and 354(A) of the IPC for sexual harassment and molestation case. Earlier in the day, a Goa police official went to Mumbai to record the statement of the woman tourist who had complained about the molestation while she was in Goa recently leading to arrest of Mr. Fernandes on Tuesday. The complainant had made the complaint to Goa police on email, Ms. Chandan Choudhary, Superintendent of Police, North Goa told The Hindu on Wednesday afternoon.
