How Man Utd could take the transfer market into further levels of absurdityWith every hour that goes by, Manchester United are wasting precious minutes in their quest to rejuvenate their underwhelming squad. Besides the £18million signing of Daniel James from Swansea City, the club’s only official approach has been for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, which was turned away by a resilient Crystal Palace. Palace have made their stance clear, they’re prepared to do business with United should they be willing to pay the £50m valuation in full. United chiefs are eventually expected to do just that and are confident of completing the deal next week to make the youngster their second summer signing. City are also admirers of Ben Chilwell and James Maddison, but yet again Brendan Rodgers has the right to demand in excess of £60m for each if United decide to pay £50m for Wan-Bissaka.
