Mourinho was extremely downbeat in a press conference during Manchester United’s pre-season tour of the USA over the weekend. The Portuguese revealed he would like two more signings before the window shuts on August 9 but admitted only one is likely. United have so far brought in three new players, with Brazil midfielder Fred the stand-out buy at £52million. But Michallik agrees with Mourinho United need more players and cannot understand why he has not been backed in the transfer market.
