However, RMC Sport report that the lawsuit was rejected by the LFP’s legal committee because they cannot penalise a club twice for the same offence, with Monaco already sanctioned over a different player back in February. AdvertisementAdvertisementAnd according to Le Parisien, that is exactly what United have done, proposing a £3.5m package to try and land the 16-year-old ahead of a growing queue of suitors which includes Lyon. His family and entourage believe a number of promises have since been broken and dispute the legality of the contract. United had an initial offer for the teenager – who plays as an attacking midfielder and has five caps for France Under-16s – rejected in January, and Monaco will demand a sizeable fee to let him leave.
