Manchester United are preparing to open talks with defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka over a bumper new contract, according to reports. After a resurgent second half of last season, Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag has performed a significant U-turn on his stance about Wan-Bissaka's future at Old Trafford. According to the Mail, United plan to commence formal discussions with the 25-year-old right-back regarding extending his current deal. Wan-Bissaka is out of contract at the end of the campaign, although there is an option to extend his stay by 12 months. But he is in line to be tabled improved terms once the summer transfer window closes as a reward for performing a notable turnaround under Ten Hag.
