Manchester United chief Woodward has given Solskjaer the keys to Old Trafford on a permanent basis following a successful spell as interim boss. The 46-year-old was initially brought in to lift the squad following the nightmare that was Jose Mourinho’s final few months in charge. But Manchester United have rediscovered their mojo under Solskjaer, with the club now expected to finish in the top four. They also have a Champions League quarter-final tie with Barcelona to look forward to, having edged their way past PSG in the last 16.
