Kane Vincent-Young's fabulous strike in the last minute of stoppage time secured a precious 1-0 win for play-off chasing Colchester at Cambridge. The Us' left-back found the net with a curling effort from 20 yards which beat Dimitar Mitov all ends up to give the visitors the victory their performance deserved. Colchester dominated the first half, spurning a great chance to take the lead in the 33rd minute through Luke Norris, who shot over with the goal gaping after Mitov had made a brilliant save to block Frankie Kent's header with his feet. The visitors continued to make the running in the second half, with Norris again firing over after good work from Sammy Szmodics, and Ben Stevenson looping a shot into Mitov's arms from 12 yards out. They remain 21st in League Two, but six points clear of the three teams below them in the relegation fight.
