De Ligt is one of the hottest prospects in world football and has been linked with an abundance of huge clubs. The las two clubs standing, it seems, are Manchester United and Barcelona, who have already signed De Ligt’s ex-Ajax team-mate Frenkie de Jong. United’s interest in De Ligt seems to be firm but the Dutchman has remained coy on what he wants to do. He’s hinted that moves to La Liga or the Premier League are a possibility, but he’s not ruled out staying at Ajax.
