According to MailOnline, United’s internal investigation is ongoing but the club are considering allowing Greenwood to leave on loan for the entirety of next season. The report claims that a move to another Premier League club is highly unlikely, while three potential destinations are Italy, Spain and Turkey. However, United made the decision in March that Greenwood would not be allowed back at the club until this summer at the earliest. But a potential loan move outside of England would allow United more time to assess their options regarding Greenwood’s long-term future at Old Trafford.
