Brendan Rodgers could be set to lose his trusted right-hand man Chris Davies – with Ange Postecoglou reportedly willing to bring him to Tottenham amid Swansea's interest in offering him their soon-to-be-vacant manager role. Davies has followed Rodgers as his trusted lieutenant throughout his career, starting off as youth team captain at Reading under the Irishman's guidance. The duo have been inseparable ever since, moving from Liverpool, then to Celtic under Rodgers after a brief sabbatical. But after being sacked by Leicester in April, despite consecutive European campaigns and an FA Cup title, it’s being reported Davies is set to abandon Rodgers – with Postecoglou set to rival Swansea for his signature. But if Swansea is his preferred choice, it would be Davies' first managerial role since obtaining his coaching licences just under 20 years ago.
