Manchester United are to upgrade the drainage system at Old Trafford in an attempt to finally end the ongoing saga of the leaky roof. Officials will also upgrade the dugouts at the Theatre of Dreams to ensure that they comply with new UEFA rules. Among the planned upgrades is also a significant renovation to the Old Trafford pitch. Daily Mail Sport previously reported that United's proposed new stadium would take around five years to build, although the club have not ruled out a refurbishment of Old Trafford. The Red Devils unveiled their plans for the new stadium in March this year, which they hope will be a 'Wembley of the North'.
