A 31-year-old man is dead, gunned down Tuesday night at the Montreal North apartment building where he lived, police say. Around 10:15 p.m., several people called 911 to report gunshots at an apartment building near the corner of Lausanne Avenue and Fleury Street. Witnesses told police they saw a vehicle pull up in front of the building. Soon after, someone shot the victim in the foyer of the building. The victim has not been identified, but Couture said he was known to police for his involvement in the drug world.
