KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian man suspected of having links to the Islamic State (IS) was arrested at Karachi airport in Pakistan on Friday. A Pakistani media portal, tribune.com.pk, reported that the man was nabbed as he was attempting to board a Malaysia-bound flight via the Jinnah International Airport. The suspect is believed to be from Serian in Sarawak and had links to Islamic State terror group. It said that authorities seized four guns, eight magazines and 70 bullets concealed in his baggage and shoes. He added that preliminary checks here revealed that the suspect, who hails from Serian, Sarawak, had links to IS.
