ISLAMABAD: Chief of Royal Malaysian Navy Admiral Tan Sri Ahmad Badaruddin on Monday visited Naval Headquarters (NHQ), Islamabad and called on Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi. Upon arrival at naval headquarters, the visiting dignitary was received by the naval chief, said a statement issued here by the directorate of public relations of Pakistan Navy (PN). The Malaysian navy chief highly appreciated the role and contributions of Pakistan Navy in maintaining peace and stability in the region. Later, the chief of Royal Malaysian Navy laid a wreath at Shuhada Monument at naval headquarters. In the second leg of his visit, the visiting Malaysian navy chief is scheduled to visit PN field commands at Lahore and Karachi.
