Malaysian Red Crescent sends 101 tonnes relief for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh


An aircraft carrying the aid reached Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong on Saturday evening. Chittagong Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Habibur Rahman received the relief materials at the airport. "This is the largest relief consignment we've received from foreign countries until now," he said. Malaysian Red Crescent representative Vladislev Ischuk and Chittagong Red Crescent Secretary Abdul Jabbar were also present. With the Malaysian Red Crescent aid, Bangladesh received around 480 tonnes of relief materials for over 400,000 newly arrived Rohingya refugees.
