KLUANG: Malaysia will be bringing up issues concerning Islamic State threats in the Asean region at the meeting of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) in Saudi Arabia. Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein (pic) said he wants to address the incident in the southern Philippines city of Marawi where the Islamic State (IS) flag was raised. He said it was the first time that the IS flag was raised in this region. “So that they know that we are also facing such threats (in this region),” he said after launching a eRezeki and eUsahawan bootcamp in Taman Sri Lambak here Saturday (Nov 25). Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud will officiate the meeting, which will be held in the capital, Riyadh.
