KUALA LUMPUR: MALAYSIA ended Thailand's domination in goalball at the Asean Para Games when the national team clinched the gold medal after beating Thailand 9-5 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Center (MiTEC). The national team, coached by Abdul Karim Raham, contributed Malaysia's last gold medal to make it a 90-gold medals, coming in second overall behind Indonesia which garnered 122-gold medals. "This gold medal could be the beginning of something better for the Asian Games (Aug 18-Sept 2, 2018 in Indonesia)."
