KUANTAN: Residents in Temerloh are told not to panic by the presence of a foreign military force beginning Aug 7. The 3rd Division and 4th Brigade (Mechanised) Base are the coordinating organisations for the Keris Strike Series 21/2017 military exercise. The exercise is based on the Command Post Exercise, Field Training Exercise and Subject Matter Exchange concepts. "It is also to strengthen military cooperation between both countries as well as expose the command and staff to field operation procedures in a joint exercise," it said. Residents in the area are also advised not to take photographs of the Army and USARPAC forces during the ongoing exercise.
