NDON : Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai has called on countries worldwide to pressure the Taliban and refrain from maintaining normal diplomatic relations with them. In an exclusive interview with a private TV channel, Malala described the current situation in Afghanistan as extremely dangerous, particularly regarding girls’ education. Schools are closed for girls, but Afghan girls have not given up. Malala condemned the Taliban’s ban on girls’ education as contrary to the teachings of Islam. Malala also reaffirmed her support for Afghan girls, saying she stands with them and continues to back educational projects for their benefit.
