A major narcotics operation across St James, and St Andrew this morning led to the arrest of five alleged key players in the illegal drug trade industry. Police sources say several "high-end" vehicles were also seized during Wednesday's pre-dawn operations. At least four of the vehicles were seized there. The predawn operation was conducted by the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) Narcotics Division, Major Organised Crime, and Anti-Corruption Agency, Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigations Branch, the JCF Apprehension Team, Financial Investigations Division, the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, and the United States Marshals. Two of the suspects were taken into custody on extradition warrants from the United States (US), sources told The STAR.
