It also had a number of NZ Post centres within supermarkets around the country and courier post depots. It now plans to roll out the service to 38 Countdowns, in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. Customers of NZ Post will soon be able to choose to have couriered packages redirected to one of 38 Countdown supermarkets around the country for pick-up. NZ Post said that aside from the Countdown arrangement, it also had a parcel collection trial underway in Wellington with Z Energy.
