Maidenhead school invites 'old friends to catch up' at 160-year anniversary celebration

A Maidenhead school celebrating two important anniversaries this year is inviting its past pupils and staff for an evening of nostalgia later this month. St Luke’s CofE Primary School is marking 160 years since the original school first opened its doors in the town and 75 years since the school joined the Oxford Diocese. The school will now host past employees and pupils who attended the school before 2005 for a social evening in the coming weeks. Acting Head, Claire Spankie said: “The evening will be an opportunity for past pupils and staff to reminisce about their time at St. Luke's CofE School. Luke's has been central part of the local community for 160 years (previously known as the National School or East Street School).
