Looby Lou's on Market Street has been praised by dozens of shoppers for its "stunning" window display which has appeared in time for the annual remembrance event this Sunday (November 12). The family-run shop, which sells women's boutique clothes, shoes, handmade gifts and homeware items, hired local window artist, Charlotte Rigby, to paint the touching tribute. The artist, who first started painting displays in lockdown before becoming a full-time window artist, regularly paints wall murals and seasonal window art for businesses and people's homes. Others also described the display as "stunning", "beautiful" and "excellent" while others praised Ms Rigby for her talented "magic touch". Looby Lou's said it is also selling poppies on behalf of Shaw's Royal British Legion as part of the Shaw and Crompton Poppy Appeal.
