2 All private institutions will install CCTV and security systems. The Maharashtra government's proposed internal security act intends to keep check on disruptive public agitations. The first draft of Maharashtra Protection of Internal Security Act shows that act gives more power and authority to the police department. It will be compulsory for all the private institutions to have the CCTV surveillance and security arrangements as guided by the police. The act also asks the Director General of Police to prepare internal security scheme for the entire state and sub schemes for the districts and urban areas.
