Ahead of the Maharashtra assembly polls, braving heavy rainfall in Satara, Nationalist Congress Party chief (NCP) Sharad Pawar on Friday addressed a public rally in a bid to woo voters. "I picked the wrong candidate during the Lok Sabha Elections. But I am happy that people of Satara are waiting for October 21 to rectify that mistake," he said. NCP is contesting the Maharasthra Assembly elections in alliance with the Congress with both parties fielding candidates from 125 assembly seats each. The election will be held for 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra along with Haryana.
