According to the Yapeiwura, his people have been neglected by President Mahama’s government as Yapei continues to be deprived of basic social amenities, including potable water. “Though John Mahama comes from here and we are surrounded by water, we are thirsty. Additionally, the Gonja chief noted that in the “whole of the Kusawgu Traditional Area, we have no secondary school and yet John Mahama is our brother. Thanking Nana Akufo-Addo for his visit, Yapeiwura Soale Alhassan prayed for a favourable outcome for the twice-failed presidential aspirant in the December 7 polls.
