Mah Sing urges more flexible schemes for private developer’s projects

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 29): Mah Sing Group Bhd has urged the government to implement more flexible schemes for private developer’s projects in 2018. In a statement highlighting its Budget 2018 wishlist, Mah Sing cited the PR1MA’s Skim Pembiayaan Fleksibel (SPEF) as an example to follow. Mah Sing said it hopes the government would extend the scheme to private developers with projects whereby the houses are priced below RM500,000, which would then enable first-time home buyers to own a home. More subsidies will also be able to encourage a higher take up rate for first-time home buyers,” Mah Sing said. The property developer also called for the government to revise the percentage of funds in Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Account One and Two.
