It seems Aziz Ansari ate his way through the second season of Master of None, first beginning in Italy and then continuing through New York City. When Dev, played by Ansari, wasn’t busy eating octopus pizzaiolo at Carbone or enjoying bacon and egg mazemen from Okonomi / Yuji Ramen, he was hosting the fictional food competition show Clash of the Cupcakes. Ansari’s food adventures helped score the show eight Emmy nominations, and Magnolia Bakery is celebrating by creating three flavors inspired from Master of None’s Clash of the Cupcakes. The flavors will be available August 11 through August 28. Magnolia Bakery has a history of making specialty-themed cupcakes, such as a Swarovski cupcake for Fashion Week and a fake sugar "glass" and red caramel "blood" cupcake in honor of Dexter.
