The majority of people reported light or weak shaking as a result of the early morning quake. “These deep earthquakes are typically widely felt, but usually not close to the epicentre.”Last week, a magnitude 8.2 earthquake struck Alaska’s coast, initially prompting tsunami warnings on Thursday for coastal areas near the epicentre.
