In separate statements, Gabriela Partylist Reps. Emmi de Jesus and Arlene Brosas, together with Magdalo Partylist Rep. Gary Alejano, condemned the wrongdoing allegedly committed by the Chinese boat captain and his crew. “Not only have they sank the Filipino boat, but they also abandoned its crew to the harsh conditions in the West Philippine Sea,” said Alejano. “It is aimed to send a message to the rest to keep off the West Philippine Sea,” said Alejano.
