The iconic car driven by Mel Gibson in the Mad Max films is up for sale. The 1974 Ford XB Falcon GT351 that featured in the iconic Australian films has been put up for sale at the Orlando Auto Museum in Florida in the United States. The Falcon coupe, known in the movie as the Pursuit Special Interceptor, appeared in the first and second films, as well as the most recent installment Max Mad: Fury Road starring Tom Hardy. Despite the astounding potential price, the Interceptor previous spent many years rotting away under a canvas at a wrecking yard in the Adelaide Hills. He then toured the car around Australia before it was sent to the National Motor Museum in Adelaide.
