Manny Machado and Franmil Reyes hit two home runs apiece — including going back-to-back during a seven-run second inning — to power the host Padres to a 12-2 win over the struggling St. Louis Cardinals at Petco Park on Saturday night. Machado drove in five runs with his 18th and 19th homers of the season while Reyes’ two homers (Nos. Fernando Tatis Jr. later hit a 440-foot solo homer, giving the Padres 16 homers during a four-game winning streak. Padres’ right hander Chris Paddack dominated the Cardinals after giving up a game-opening homer to St. Louis lead-off man Tommy Edman on the game’s fourth pitch. He gave up a two-run homer to Machado and Reyes’ second homer.
