Addressing the media after the presentation, Mr. Mr Selorm Adadevoh noted that they had come to commend him for the good works he is doing for Asante and Ghana. Asante kingdom, he said, has been very instrumental in MTN leadership in the mobile telecommunication business in this country hence, the donation to the Asante Monarch in his 20th anniversary for his immense support. Known in private life as Barima Kwaku Duah, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II ascended the Golden Stool on April 26, 1999, as the 16th occupant, succeeding his brother Otumfuo Opoku Ware II who visited his ancestors on February 25, 1999. The Chief of Staff of the Asantehene, Mr Kofi Badu, disclosed this to journalists in the first of a series of media encounters at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
