General News of Saturday, 6 April 2019Source: GNACatholic University student crowned ‘Miss Health Ghana 2019’Miss Ohemaa Akua Achiaa Agyekum was crowned ‘Miss Health Ghana 2019’A final year Public Health student of the Catholic University College of Ghana (CUCG), Miss Ohemaa Akua Achiaa Agyekum has been crowned ‘Miss Health Ghana 2019’. She emerged the winner among 10 contestants at the end of a maiden ‘Miss Health Ghana’ contest organised by the National Health Students’ Association of Ghana (NAHSAG). It was to identify capable and skillful health students and graduates as ambassadors to advocate for the individual Ghanaian to contribute in promoting quality health living and well-being in the country. This came to light when Miss Agyekum presented her crown to Professor Daniel Obeng-Ofori, the Vice-Chancellor (VC) at the University. Earlier in an interview, Miss Agyekum described the competition as highly significant for quality health promotion in the country but very keen and challenging contest, since she met extremely brilliant and intelligent participants.
