Collins joined Reid in claiming the passion in the meetings was being driven by QAnon followers. "What we've seen recently is QAnon followers as well going to these meetings and seeing this big public spectacle … and they can say, ‘Hey we need to rile people up. The two then attempted to draw a line between QAnon followers and what they described as evangelical Christians, claiming the group was a target to infiltrate by QAnon followers, and suggesting that people associated with Bible studies become associated with QAnon and "move over from there."
