In a nearly 40-minute segment on AM Joy that ran without commercials, the 49-year-old apologized for controversial posts that she had already apologized for months ago. And for that, I am truly, truly sorry. Panelists avoided any discussions about how Reid got herself into her current mess and forgave the broadcaster for her past transgressions. During the most recent quarter, AM Joy beat rival CNN for the first time since the show was launched in 2016. Reid deserves some sort of punishment from the network for putting the network in a difficult though it seems unlikely that will happen.
